Day 50 - Secret Beach - Cape Ferrelo

Contemplating seagull.

The tiny and amazing Secret Beach.  It is at the bottom of an unmarked trailhead at an unmarked and hard to find parking area.

It's a small stretch of beach – with many small wonders – worth the effort of climbing down the rock scramble to get to beach level.

Little streams run out of the dark forest onto Secret Beach.

Judging from all the footprints, the Secret's out.

Dec 3 and Russ is still in shorts. He's going for the record for "longest time in shorts". We are very lucky to be getting these temps and sunshine!

The team starts the rock scramble ascent to get off Secret Beach – the tide is coming in, and the entire beach is under water at high tide.
